PORTLAND
Riley Bartell held Highland Green to just three hits as Coastal Landscape rolled to a 10-0 mercy-rule win over Highland Green in American Legion baseball action on Thursday.
Highland Green (2-3), which hosts Yankee Ford for a doubleheader on Saturday at 10 a.m., received a single each from Kaileb Hawkes, Sam Alexander and Brendan Emmons.
Bartell struck out three and didn’t walk a hitter in the going the five innings for the win.
Garrett Moody and Cam Grant pitched for Highland Green, combining on three strikeouts and two walks.
Dylan Francouer doubled and singled for Coastal (4-2), while Bartell added a pair of singles. Tim Greenlaw chipped in a double, with James Sinclair and Augie Salevsky each doubling.
