RICHMOND — Georgetta Betty Leffel ( Nanny) died Thurs, June 22, 2017, at Gardiner Alzheimer Care Center at the age of 90.
She was born Nov.1, 1926 in Upsheer County West Virginia. Betty moved to Columbus Ohio where she met, and married her lifelong partner Bobby Leffel.
Betty is survived by son Thomas B Leffel, wife Joyce Ann & grandson, Arie B. Leffel, of Darbyville OH., daughter Patricia A Thompson, husband David, grandchildren Jason D. & Alyson L. and great grandchildren. Gage D. L. Thompson, and David Scott Edwards, all of Richmond Me., brother Ronald, and wife Sharon Bell of Ashland Ky., and sister Janice (Mickey) Depp of Dayton OH., numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and, great-nephews. As well as special members of family of her heart.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Gardiner Alzheimer’s Care Center. in memory of Betty Leffel, 154 Dresden Ave. Gardiner Maine 04345.
