APOLLO, PA — Brian Homer Bence, 59, passed away on May 27, 2017, after struggling many years with heart failure. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 1, 2017, from noon to 2 p.m., at Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home Inc., 2842 River Road, Vandergrift, PA (724) 567-7006. With a procession to Greenwood Memorial Cemetery where there will be a graveside service with full military honors with the Vandergrift honor guard. Online condolences may be made at gamblefh.com. BATH — Caroline Kinney, 102, passed March 31, 2017, peacefully at Hillhouse in Bath, with loved ones by her side. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 17 at 2 p.m. at Hillhouse Assisted Living in Bath.
