WOOLWICH CENTRAL SCHOOL students, above, on Tuesday examine a brand-new Lifeflight of Maine helicopter after it landed on the athletic field. Earlier this month, Lifeflight asked elementary students across the state to do drawings of the helicopter — which is nicknamed Whiskey Mike — and share them on Facebook. Lifeflight said the drawing with the most “likes” would win a visit from the helicopter. Fifth-grader Madison Malcolm of Woolwich created the winning drawing, shown on the right, bringing the chopper to the school.
