GEORGETOWN — Constance Elizabeth Gray Luebke, 79, of Georgetown, Maine went home to heaven to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2017 after a long, hard battle with Parkinson’s disease. The first-born child of Woodrow Enfield Gray and Marion Hunt, she was born at Bath Memorial Hospital on July 8, 1937.

She was a resident of Five Islands until moving to Bath, graduating from Morse High School class of 1956. In high school she loved to dance and sing and was always involved in the Mohiba productions using her beautiful soprano voice. She married in 1957 and was blessed with a daughter, Donna Luebke and a son, Scott Luebke. After divorcing, she and the kids moved to California in 1971, where she raised her children and worked in several electronics companies as a printed circuit board inspector. A few days a week she would sing in a club or some other venue for a little extra money. Of the 40 years she lived in California not a day went by that she didn’t long to be back in Maine. In 2010 she was finally able to fulfill her lifelong dream of returning to Maine. Her daughter Donna and son Scott cared for their mother and valiantly fought the ravages of this disease.

Connie loved the Lord, her Bible, her family, singing and dancing, Fat Boys, coffee ice cream, cooking, Ledgemere, getting dulse off the rocks at low tide in Five Islands, and all manner of seafood. But of all things she loved she was the happiest when she was with her grandchildren Bryce, Brittany and Brandon. She cherished every moment spent with them. They loved to hear her play the piano and sing with them.

She is pre-deceased by her parents Woodrow and Marion Gray and her brother Gerald.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Luebke of Falmouth, ME, her son Scott Luebke of Georgetown, ME, her sister Pamela Gray of Bath, ME, and her brother Woody Gray of Rochester, NH, her grandsons Bryce and Brandon Luebke, her granddaughter Brittany Finch, four great-grandchildren, twelve nieces and nephews, more cousins than you can shake a stick at, countless VERY special friends.

The memorial service will be held at Five Islands Baptist Church on Saturday May 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Barry Moore officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Five Islands Baptist Church.

Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath.
