BATH — Carol Evelyn (Rideout) Lab, 74, of Bath, a beloved mother and grandmother, died peacefully from cancer surrounded by her loving family, on May 4, 2017, at Mid Coast Hospital. She was born in Bath, on February 12, 1943, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha Rideout.

Carol was a Morse High Class of 1961. For over 40 years she worked at the American Legion Post 21 in Bath as bar manager/bartender.

She is survived by her three children, Randall Chaput, Tracey French, and Troy Chaput, and respective grandchildren, Ian Holland, Lucy McIntosh, Michael and Jared Collins, Madeline and Brook Chaput; siblings, Barbara Descoteaux, Arthur, Earnest, Richard, James, Susie and Debra Rideout.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017, from 2:00 – 4:00pm at the American Legion Post 21, 200 Congress Ave., Bath, Me 04530
