Sgt. 1st Class Nahum E. Cloutier

DURHAM – Sgt. 1st Class Nahum E. Cloutier “Ed” 69 of Durham passed away Oct. 13, 2022 after a 34-year battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Ed was born in Brunswick and after completing high school he proudly joined the Army, retiring after 20 years. During his time in the Army he was a member of the 101st Airborne and honorably served in Operation Desert Storm.

He met and married his devoted wife, of 48 years, Vicky, in Brunswick. Together they created two loving sons, Mark and Jeffrey. Ed was a proud family man. Ed enjoyed anything outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was always finding new projects to do in the house and yard.

Throughout the many years he had Parkinson’s Disease, he provided the medical community with knowledge and tools to help alleviate the struggles of those who also suffer from the disease. He was very proud of that fact. His absence is immeasurable to those who loved him.
