Registration is still open for the Maine Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Relay on Sunday, Oct. 4, in Portland. Runners must sign up by midnight Tuesday to receive a personalized bib, though entries will still be accepted until Sept. 27 or until the cap of 3,500 participants for the marathon and half marathon is reached. The New England Colonials International Basketball Club has reserved places for Maine high school players on its 2016 basketball tour to Austria and Germany. Ten New England players in grades 10 and 11 will be selected for a 10-day tour during April school vacation.
