Priscilla Lefebvre

LOWELL, Mass. – Priscilla Lefebvre, born on May 28, 1928, in Biddeford to George and Irene Garnache, passed away peacefully on Oct. 17, 2024, in Chelmsford, Mass.

A woman of many talents, Priscilla found joy in sewing, writing, crafting greeting cards, and solving puzzles. Her friends and family cherished the personalized cards she sent for every occasion.

Priscilla believed in the power of the pen, using it to address social issues and advocate for change. Her insightful and witty letters were published in the Lowell Sun. Proud of her roots, Priscilla coordinated class reunions for her Biddeford High School classmates for many years.

After her younger children started school, she embraced education herself, enrolling in college courses through the University of Lowell’s Second Chance program in 1979. This experience reignited her passion for writing, leading to the publication of her collection titled “And You Thought I Was “JUST” a Housewife!”, which included her letters, anecdotes, short stories, and poems.

Priscilla was a beloved grandmother and step-grandmother to 13. Priscilla is survived by her brother, Richard Garnache of Port Orange, Fla, and predeceased by brothers Paul, George, and Charlie, as well as sisters Dorothy, Helen, and Muriel.
