PENSACOLA, Fla. – Jacquelynn Hendershott, 94, passed away on Oct. 16, 2025, at Azalea Trace Retirement Community in Pensacola, Fla.
Jackie was born to William S. Vizzini and Catherine Yost Vizzini in New Orleans, La. She married Charles Wightman Hendershott from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on May 12, 1955, in New Orleans, La. Jackie and Chuck lived in New Orleans, La.; Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada; Pointe Claire, Quebec; Kennebunk; and Gulf Breeze/Pensacola, Fla. during their life together. The family also spent summers at Gun Lake in Michigan.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Edmund Pixberg.
She is survived by her daughters Lindsey Windrow (James) and Anne Hendershott; granddaughters Ashley Windrow (Ben Bleiberg) and Brittany Windrow; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 10, at Azalea Trace Auditorium, with Rev. Frank Beall officiating. A funeral cortege will depart Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 11, for a graveside interment of Mr. and Mrs. Hendershott’s ashes at 11:30 a.m., at Barrancas National Cemetery.
