Betty Jane Grant
LEWISTON – Betty Jane Grant, 84, of Lewiston, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston.
She was born on March 26, 1941, in Portland to William S. Temm Sr. and Marie Alice Temm (Neault). She attended Scarborough schools. Betty Jane was a member of the North Scarborough Grange and the Westbrook American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Beth Ann Golder; her siblings, Charles Temm, Clifton Temm, Alvin Temm, William Temm Jr. and Barbara Temm.
She is survived by her sons Warren Douglas of Cornish, Christopher Douglas of Washington State, Jeffrey Douglas Temm of Mendosa, Argentina, James Douglass of Cornish and Matthew Golder of Hollis; three brothers, Albert Temm of South Paris, Roy Temm of Scarborough, John Temm of Scarborough, and sister, Frances Erickson of Scarborough; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Rd., Bar Mills. A private spring burial will be held at South Buxton Cemetery.
