CAPE ELIZABETH – Alva C. Drinon was born in 1940 and she passed away peacefully on Christmas Day 2025. Christmas Day was the perfect day for the saint that she was, to pass.
Alva attended the prestigious Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MASSART). After graduation she moved with her husband and two children to Portland.
Alva became the first female Design Engineer for Weyerhaeuser Corporation in Westbrook. She was well thought of in the community and by all of its residents.
Alva is survived by her son; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Per her wishes there will be a celebration of life this summer. We will make an announcement later in the year.
God bless you, Mom.
