Michael C. Franco
PARSONSFIELD – Michael C. Franco, 61, of Parsonsfield passed away on Feb. 28, 2026, after a long illness.
He was born in Portland on Aug. 30, 1964 and grew up on Munjoy Hill and Riverton with his parents, Luke and Christina Franco and his brothers Mark and Kevin.
He attended Deering High School and went on to join the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 716 with his father, Luke and brother, Kevin. His work would take him across the country to California and Arizona as well as to Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut. He was proud of his union membership and forged strong friendships with his union brothers.
Mike was an extremely hard worker and would do anything for his family and friends. It would be an understatement to say that he loved his German Shepherds who were his companions for life.
Michael was predeceased by his parents Luke and Christina.
He is survived by his brothers Mark and Kevin, his sister-in-law, Tammy Franco; and his niece and nephew, Michaela and Nicholas Franco; as well as numerous cousins.
There will be a private family burial and a celebration of life in the spring with details to follow.
