Nancy J. Bugbee

HAMPTON, N.H. – Nancy J. Bugbee, 57, of Hampton, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

She was born on June 9, 1968, in Portland, Maine, a daughter of Patricia (Howard) Inman of South Portland, Maine, and the late Richard G. Inman. Raised in Scarborough, Miane, she graduated from Scarborough High School with the Class of 1986.

In 1991, she moved to Hampton, N.H., with her future husband of 33 years, Edward Bugbee. Together they built a loving home and raised their family. Nancy devoted 20 years of her life to serving the town of Exeter, N.H., working in various positions with dedication and pride.

Nancy enjoyed the beach, hiking, and most of all, spending cherished time with her grandson. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit were felt by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Bugbee of Hampton; her son, James E. Bugbee and his wife Brianne of Epping, N.H.; her beloved grandson, Bryson M. Bugbee; and her siblings, Richard G. Inman Jr. and his wife Sheree, and Kathleen Adams and her husband Mark.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her son Brandon M. Bugbee.

A visiting hour will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home–Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, N.H. A service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the High Street Cemetery, Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
