Bertha Hardinson
GORHAM – Bertha Hardison, 93, passed away on March 14, 2026, following a short illness.
She was born on Aug. 26, 1932, in Belmont, the daughter of Clarence and Viola Morse.
Bertha graduated from Crosby High School with the Class of 1949 and later from the Maine Eye and Ear Infirmary School of Nursing in 1952. She worked as a registered nurse at Maine General and Osteopathic Hospitals until her retirement.
After retiring, she enjoyed spending time at her homes on Little Sebago Lake in Maine and in Briny Breezes, Fla. She especially enjoyed gardening, quilting, painting, playing cards, and shuffleboard.
Bertha was predeceased by her husband, Harold Hardison; her son, Stephen; her parents; and her brothers Clarence Morse Jr., Norman Morse, and James Morse.
She is survived by her daughters, Terri Hardison of Portland and Sandra Small of Westbrook; three grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her brother, Lester Morse.
There will be no services at this time.
