Rayna Mayo Jr.
TOPSHAM – Rayna Mayo Jr. died suddenly Sunday night April 20, 2026, in his home.
He was born in Topsham on May 5, 1952, and lived in Maine his whole life, save for a short stint in the Army in El Paso, Texas.
He spent most of his adult life in Bowdoinham. He ran a successful construction and contracting business, building and renovating many of the local houses and buildings.
Ray was a kind and generous man who loved life and his family. His greatest joys were his camp at Moxie, which he built by hand, and his family, especially his grandchildren. Ray was always available to friends and family to sit and have a chat or to fix your furnace or to rescue you from car trouble on a snowy road. He was indispensable and will be missed.
