KITTERY – Jeffrey Arthur Pride, 77, of Kittery, Maine, died April 20, 2026, after a long illness and courageous battle with cancer.
Jeff was born and raised in Westbrook, attending public schools where there were no school buses at the time; he always walked to and from school. Jeff was drafted into the Army, serving in Intelligence, and was a Veteran. Jeff attended the University of Maine at Orono, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Jeff had a unique outlook on humor and was a mild-mannered genius. In Jeff’s personal life, he enjoyed gardening, playing piano, time at camp, walks on the beach, spoiling his cat and dog, photography, making movies on the computer, keeping up with politics, watching the Red Sox, reading books (especially anything to do with submarines), building Heathkit TVs and stereos, model train enthusiast, built and used flying and underwater drones, enjoyed a good comic strip to the point where he would copy it, enlarge it, color it in, and even modify it. He liked cooking new recipes, always had a pen in his shirt pocket, and loved sailing. His favorite family event was the Annual Cider Fest at Linda’s.
