One person died and two others were injured in a crash in Dover-Foxcroft on Tuesday.
The Dover-Foxcroft Police and Fire departments were dispatched at about noon to a motor vehicle crash near 2372 Dexter Road, the police department said in a social media post.
The drivers of the two vehicles involved were seriously injured, while a passenger in one of the vehicles was found dead, the department said. The police department said it was not sharing the names of the individuals involved Tuesday night as officials continue to investigate.
Maine State Police, the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office, and the Dexter Police Department assisted on scene, the Dover-Foxcroft department said.
