Stephen Michael Broad II
MANCHESTER – Stephen Michael Broad II, 51, of Portland, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 19, 2026. He was born on Jan. 27, 1975, in Portland, a son of Stephen and Paula (Ham) Broad.
Stephen was educated in the Portland school system and spent much of his life in the community he called home.
He was predeceased by his father, Stephen Michael Broad I; his mother, Paula Ann Scott (Broad/Ham); his sister, Tammy Dee Broad and his beloved grandmother, Pauline Barbara Ham, along with many other cherished family members and loved ones.
He is survived by his partner, Sherry Bodge; two sons, Stephen Michael Broad III and Cody Allen Broad, both of Westbrook; grandson, Greyson Kear. He also leaves behind his nieces, Cheyanne D’Amico of Fryeburg, and Lindsay D’Amico of Brownfield; nephew, Gage Moody of Bangor; great-niece and nephew Adrianne and Brantley Foster of Fryeburg, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Stephen will be remembered for the impact he had on those who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 p.m., on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland, where a funeral will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, June 25. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland.
