As part of a collaboration with the Portland Press Herald, experts from The New York Times and the Siena Research Institute have surveyed more than 600 likely Maine voters to gauge their opinions during a critical election year for the state.
The first results were released Monday. Our reporters examined support for Sen. Susan Collins compared to Graham Platner, attitudes toward President Donald Trump and how control of Congress and the economy could shape Mainers’ decisions in November.
