Robbie Armitage scored an unassisted goal in the first period and Henry Norris added a short-handed goal in the third period as Falmouth defeated Greely 2-0 in a boys’ hockey game Friday night at Family Ice Arena.
Falmouth (7-1), ranked first in Class A South, extended its winning streak to seven games.
Joe MacDonald finished with 36 saves for Greely (2-5). Spencer Pierce needed just 12 saves to earn the shutout.
COLLEGES
MEN’S HOCKEY: Colby scored three power-play goals on its way to a 6-4 win over Nazareth in Plattsburgh, New York.
EJ Rauseo and Jack Burton each scored two goals for the Mules (4-3-2), while Devin Albert and Kai Frankville each had one. Geoff Sullivan added four assists.
Nazareth drops to 2-6-4.
