The Westbrook American reported on March 6, 1957, that Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Porell of Westbrook were vacationing in Florida. The Buxton Bullets with a 12-5 record were in second place in the basketball Casco Bay League. They trailed the undefeated L.L. Bean Sportsmen, who were 15-0.
