A longtime summer resident of Biddeford Pool, she was scheduled to promote her 18th novel, ‘The Stars are Fire,’ at several Maine stops until an illness forced her to cancel her tour.

The writer will talk about her book at Print: A Bookstore on April 30.

“Anything Is Possible” is a novel-in-stories that follows threads first pulled in ‘My Name is Lucy Barton.’

The conference also will honor Maine mystery writer Tess Gerritsen.
