The Westbrook American reported on Nov. 5, 1958, that Katherine Mitchell, a teacher at Saccarappa School in Westbrook, had visited relatives and friends in Dark Harbor. Schuyler Lynch of Rochester Street in Westbrook was taking a month’s course at the Federal Banking School in Washington, D.C.
