Henry Owens pitches 6 2/3 innings, allowing two hits and striking out nine in his first Trple-A game.

Newly acquired Eduardo Rodriguez allows just two hits in 5 1/3 innings as Portland beats the Trenton Thunder, 4-1.

Former Sea Dogs are among those Boston may target.

Trenton uses a four-run seventh inning for a 5-2 victory.

Three Portland players, including pitcher Henry Owens, are moved up to Triple-A Pawtucket.

He will make his debut in Rhode Island on Monday night.

Just up from Class A Salem, the young righty shows he belongs but gets no offensive support.
