The Cape Elizabeth Historical Preservation Society will hold a presentation on the ecology of Scarborough Marsh on Monday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the Thomas Memorial Library on Scott Dyer Road in Cape Elizabeth.
Linda Woodard of the Maine Audubon Society, known to many throughout the area for her work at the Scarborough Marsh Audubon Center, will give a slide presentation on the ecosystem of the marsh.
Woodard will bring with her several stuffed animals and birds, to show the kind of wildlife that inhabit the marsh. She will discuss what is being done to keep the marsh safe for their continued habitation.
As usual, refreshments will be provided, admission is free and parking is free.
