The Bonny Eagle High School Drama Club’s production of Anything Goes was recently performed to delighted audiences at the high school. Anything Goes is from the book by Guy Bolton, P.G. Wodehouse, Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse; with music and lyrics by Cole Porter. It includes Cole Porter’s classic tunes: I Get a Kick out of You, It’s De-Lovely, and The Gypsy in Me.

The plot revolves around nightclub singer Reno Sweeney, her pal Billy Crocker, Crocker’s debutante-love Hope Harcourt, Moon-Face Mooney, and Public Enemy No. 13 who slips onto the ship to avoid the FBI. Anything Goes was a popular musical in the 1930’s.

The onstage cast: Andrew Cardamone, Justin Adams, Ash Grant, Stephanie Yum, Sean McCarthy, Dani Caron, Ashley Montgomery, Dan Byrne, Megan Burnell, Taylor Steeves, Griffin Sherry, Josh Gastonguay, Brian McCarthy, Stephen Hilton, Kelly Byrne, Tim Dupre, Margaret Morris, Melissa Kennison, Kate Downey, Marybeth Bolte, Erik Flaherty, Gina Cardamone, Ash Grant, Amanda Murray, Jennifer Murray, Jessica Silver, Gretchen Sjulander, Lacey Smith, Katie Way, and Erin Wilson.

The tech and backstage crew included Breanne Boutilier, Rebecca Bartlett, Maxine Harmon (choreographer), Julien Demassey, Megan Bridges, Kyle Bulger, Jack Scannell, Bryce Clark, Nate Bridges, Kyle Patnaude, Myles Garland, Jen Malmgard, Sonia Gruchala, Kristin Saunders, Jon Saunders, and Amber Daniels.

The pit band included Matt Bolton, Eric Favreau, Artemis Foster, Rob Martin, and Ben Roy.
