Dundee Park, off River Road, was created many years ago, nearly totally by volunteers. The result is a wonderful resource with a small attractive beach and picnic area in a sheltered spot along the Presumpscot River.

Park stewards Dennis and Mona Dodd live on the park grounds and are supported by park attendants and community volunteers.

Dundee is open from 8 a.m. to sunset daily through Labor Day. Rates for seniors (62+) are as follows:

$1.50 anytime, resident or non-resident

$20 – season pass for resident seniors

$35 – season pass for non-resident senior

Horseshoes are available to borrow – just bring a photo ID.

There are some restrictions: No smoking on the beach, no pets, no alcohol or glass bottles, no feeding the ducks, no loud music, no profanity and no unsupervised children under 12. No launching/docking boats or rafts from the beach. (There is a public boat launch on Windham Center Road, near the North Gorham area)

From No. Windham take River Road to Presumpscot Road, the first right after the yellow blinking light at Windham Center Road, straight on Presumpscot Road to the entrance of Dundee. From South Windham, take River Road north for 3.6 miles and turn left onto Presumpscot Road.
