Congratulations to Frances Naugler, Windham, who turned 90 on August 8, and celebrated the day on August 13 at a party given by her children Willis and his wife Ellie White of Elizabethtown, New York; Deb and her husband Edwin McNelly of Lee, New Hampshire; Beverly and her husband Richard Symonds and Carol and husband Fred Kelley, all of Windham.
The happy event was attended by 85 people, and was held at the former Frederick Robie School in Gorham, where she spent most of her school days.
She has 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, some of whom came from Georgia, Florida and New York, as well as Maine, to celebrate with their grandmother.
Frances was born above Millinocket to Ray and Eugenia Grant and had nine brothers and sisters. Several of her siblings are deceased, but she still has a brother Darrell and sister Connie of Port Charlotte, Florida.
