The Scarborough Community Chamber would like to thank the Town of Scarborough, Scarborough Community Television, all of the candidates on the Nov. 8 ballot, the media panelists including moderator Gregg Lagerquist of WGME 13, Lucas Knowles of The Scarborough Leader, Jeff Inglis of The Current, and Lori Eschholz of The Forecaster for participating in our 2005 Candidates’ Night.
The program helped to inform Scarborough voters about the important issues facing the community, and the views of the candidates who are running for office. Many excellent questions were posed helping to shed light on the candidates’ positions on these issues.
The Scarborough Community Chamber is dedicated to supporting, and strengthening our members and underscoring their importance to the continued growth and vitality of our town. Forums such as Candidates’ Night will allow the Scarborough Community Chamber, and the business community, to build a positive relationship with local government leaders. We are proud to sponsor Candidates’ Night and thank you all, again, for your participation.
