The Southern Maine Agency on Aging in South Portland and the Cape Elizabeth Triad are hosting a seminar titled “Depression and Coping Strategies” on Dec. 29. The lecture is geared toward senior citizens and is part of a monthly series on senior issues.
South Portland and Cape Elizabeth are collaborating to offer seniors informative seminars on a monthly basis to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Paul Grayce from the University of New England will present “Depression and Coping Strategies” Thursday, Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. Following the lecture will be a question and answer period. The talk is free and is being held at the Cape Elizabeth Fire Station on Route 77. The general public is invited. Light refreshments will be provided.
Past seminars have included talks on living wills, and healthy eating.
“Triad is a very close-knit group,” said Police Triad Adviser Mark Dorval. “We’re looking out for other seniors in the community.”
