The Scarborough Middle School Builders Club, Scarborough High School Key Club, and the Kiwanis Club of Scarborough are working together to raise money for Operation Cupid.

Operation cupid was a program that was started last year by a group of middle school students. The program involves sending 150 bags with miscellaneous snack items, Valentine cards, and phone calling cards to the 152 Maintenance Company of the National Guards. These Maine soldiers have been stationed in Iraq for the past year.

The organizations involved in the program are asking that friends, families and neighbors in our community help in our effort to bring those far away a little closer to home on Valentine’s Day. To donate, make a check out to Scarborough Middle School and mail it to Operation Cupid, Scarborough Middle School, 44 Gorham Road, Scarborough, Maine 04074.
