Long before the Rotary was the rotary in Windham, it was Foster’s Corner and before that, it was Morrill’s Corner. This Morrill was Andrew, who had a store in the same location as Seavey’s is today. Morrill sold out to the Foster brothers. Another Morrell family (spelled differently) started at the corner with a blacksmith shop, and transitioned to motor vehicles as time went on. This photo shows Lott Morrell’s blacksmith shop, the old Grange Hall to the left and lots and lots of snow! (Photo courtesy Windham Historical Socety)
