The Mended Hearts support group will meet Wednesday, Feb. 2, in Scarborough at 7 p.m. on the ground floor of the Maine Medical Center building, 100 Campus Drive.

This month’s topic will be “Update on Cardiac Health for 2006,” which will be presented by Dr. Lisa Thomas of Maine Cardiology Associates.

The next meeting will take place Thursday, March 2, with a topic entitled, “Spring into Motion!”

Mended Hearts is a national, non-profit organization, affiliated with the American Heart Association, whose mission is to inspire hope in heart disease patients and their families. Heart event survivors, family and anyone interested in staying heart healthy are invited to attend the group’s monthly meetings.
