Join thousands of cyclists as they ride across the Massachusetts in the 27th annual Pan-Massachusetts Challenge, the nation’s original bike-a-thon for charity that raises more money than any other athletic fundraising event in the country.

Held on Saturday, Aug. 5, and Sunday, Aug. 6, the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge is open to 4,000 cyclists who come from 30 states and six countries to raise funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. Cyclists can choose from eight routes, logging between 70 and 192 miles across Massachusetts over one or two days. Over the past 26 years, the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge has raised $145 million. This year’s goal is to raise an additional $24 million for the world-renowned cancer research center.

Minimum fundraising requirements range from $1,300 to $3,300, depending upon the route chosen. There is a $150 registration fee. Support services, meals, and overnight accommodations are provided. For more information, or to register, visit www.pmc.org or call (800) WE-CYCLE.
