There will be a community blood drive at the Cape Elizabeth Public Safety Building on March 2 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

People who are in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, have never been exposed to hepatitis and are 17 years old or older are eligible to donate blood. There is no upper age limit for donors, and most medications are acceptable.

While walk-ins will be accepted at the drive, residents are urged to make an appointment to minimize waiting. Call 799-7265, ext. 420 to schedule an appointment.
