The Eastern Trail Management District wants to hear from the public on new routes that will connect the Greenbelt Trail in South Portland to the Scarborough Eastern Trail.

The public hearing will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 6, in Scarborough Town Hall.

At the meeting, representatives from the Eastern Trail Management District will listen to public comments on several new trail routes. One route would run from the Eastern Rail Corridor to Pleasant Hill.

The management district has two possible routes for connecting Pleasant Street to the Wainright Complex: one via Rigby Road and another from Pond View Drive to Bog Road.
