At his recent birthday party, 9-year-old Jack Scofield, sitting in the center of the back row, asked his friends not to bring him any gifts. Instead, he asked them to bring food to donate to the South Portland Food Pantry. He and some of his friends delivered the food last week and spent a morning volunteering at the pantry. Scofield is sitting next to, from left in the back row, Andrew Falconer and Ally Hobbs and, from left in the front row, Amelia Scofield and James Falconer.
