Instructors Sal Costanza and Brian Peet, left and right, watch as Lana Peet performs karate moves at a belt ceremony for members of Tiger Spirit Martial Arts program on Saturday, Mar. 4. The kids, aged 4 to 7, follow the Lil’ Dragon curriculum created by Century Martial Arts, a supplier of martial arts equipment and educational material in the United States. In addition to fun, high-energy karate classes, the students learn both safety and life skills. The troupe’s first belt-presentation ceremony event was held at the Center Stage Dance Studio in Raymond Village. Courtesy photo
