Cape Elizabeth Middle School Student Council advisor Jim Doliner presents the “Perky, Pretty Pink Pokka-Dot Flamingos,” with their awards for Best Team Spirit/Costume at the Student Council sponsored Trivia Bee held at the Middle School last Thursday. About twenty teams competed in grades 5 through 8. The Pink Flamingoes won the bee in three rounds of over-time. The flamingoes are 8th graders (l to R) Macauley Cliffe, Emma Kast and Olivia DeSena. The trivia bee questions were perfect pre-teen fodder, focused entirely on pop-culture. Seventh grade teacher Joanne Paquette asked the teams, which “Friends” characters got married on the show.
