Teen tantrum
A teenage boy from the Oakhurst area took off with the family Jeep after a dispute with his parents. He and the vehicle were later found at a relative’s home.
March 13
Harassing phone calls
A man from the Shore Road area received multiple harassing phone calls from the same caller. Police advised the man to file for a protection order.
Shattered window
The rear window of a BMW Mini Cooper was shattered while parked overnight in a driveway in the Mitchell Road area. Police have not ruled out vandalism as the cause, though nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
March 15
Jonesin’ for fuel
At about 6 p.m. a local gas station attendant reported that a red Subaru station wagon with a Thule carrier on the roof drove off after pumping $30.57 of gas without paying.
March 16
Harassing Calls
A Bowery Beach Road area woman received multiple harassing phone calls from the same caller. The woman knows the caller and has been advised to file a protection order against her.
March 18
Death
At about 7:27 a.m., police responded to a death on the Scott Dyer Road area.
Summons & Citations
A female, 16, of Cape Elizabeth was issued a summons on the Charles E. Jordan Road for imprudent speeding and violation of an interim license on March 14.
Michael Bouthillette, 38, of 39 Logan Circle, Waterboro, was issued a summons for speeding 34 mph in a 25 mph zone on March 20.
Arrests
Daniel L. Heller, 25, of 11 Pineview Drive, Falmouth, was arrested on Spurwink Avenue and charged with operating with a suspended registration and sale/use of drug paraphernalia on March 17.
Fire and Rescue
The Cape Elizabeth Fire Department responded to a lightning strike on Winding Way at 9:20 a.m. on March 14; a Carbon Monoxide detector on Ocean View at 10:11 a.m. on March 14; a car accident on Charles E. Jordan Road at 5:04 p.m. on March 14; a fire alarm on the Old Mill Road at 5:06 p.m. on March 15; a fire alarm in Broad Cove at 5:11 p.m. on March 17; a fire alarm on Ocean House Road at 5:07 a.m. on March 18; a car accident on Ocean House Road at 11:51 a.m. on March 18; a gas leak on Scott Dyer Road on March 19; an odor investigation on Salt Spray Lane at 12:10 p.m. on March 19; a fire alarm on Spurwink Avenue at 1:31 p.m. on March 20.
The Cape Elizabeth Rescue responded to seven calls between March 14 and March 19. Five patients were transported to Maine Medical Center and two required no transport.
