The Scarborough Community Chamber held its annual meeting Friday at the Black Point Inn on Prouts Neck, with stand-up comedian Karen Morgan as the keynote speaker. Morgan, who bills herself as “Maine’s Funniest Mom,” entertained chamber members with jokes about her experience as a mother.
At the meeting, chamber members voted in a new slate of officers and directors.
The slate of officers included Kevin Freeman of Pizzagalli Construction, president; management consultant Susan deGrandpre, vice president; Bob Nadeau of Gorham Savings Bank, treasurer; Warren Moorhead of Smith Barney, secretary, and Tim Byrne of Tim Byrne Photography, past president.
The slate of directors included Randy Judkins of the Maine Hysterical Society, Jay Cross of Edward Jones, Maureen Weeks of Biddeford Savings Bank, and Michelle Raber of State Farm Insurance. Scarborough Town Manager Ron Owens and Julie Bassett of the Scarborough Economic Development Corp. were presidential appointments.
