The Inn By The Sea in Cape Elizabeth announced this week that Navy veteran and Cape Elizabeth resident Paul Trantina has joined the staff as facilities manager, responsible for guest services and housekeeping.

Trantina spent 21 years in the navy, prior to joining the management team at the inn, spending most of his career in the Western Pacific with two tours in the Persian Gulf, and two overseas tours in Japan and Diego Garcia. In the Navy, Trantina supervised ship galleys and officer quarters.

Trantina retired from the Navy to live in Cape Elizabeth with his wife and son.

Cape resident Paul Trantina will be the new facilities manager at The Inn By The Sea.
