The Cape School Board approved the nomination of Troy Henninger to takeover for outgoing Assistant Principal Mark Tinkham Tuesday night. Tinkham is leaving Cape to become principal at Freeport High School.
Henninger was chosen out of ten candidates interviewed. From 1993 to 2004, he worked in the Osceola Country District in Kissimmee, Fla. in varying positions, including social studies teacher, curriculum specialist, budget analyst and assistant principal.
He comes to Cape from Lewiston Regional Technical Center, where he taught business classes part-time and worked part-time as a curriculum specialist.
