Ronald L. Kimball, a vice president and manager of information security in the risk management department at TD Banknorth Inc. in Falmouth, was named a finalist for the Information Security Executive of the Year Award for New England.

The Information Security Executive of the Year Award recognizes leadership, exemplary achievement and excellence in managing enterprise-wide information security programs. The individuals selected for recognition play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of company and customer data across all industries in New England.

Kimball, a resident of Naples, was selected as a finalist by a panel of judges comprised of senior information security executives from across the country.

Kimball joined TD Banknorth in 2001 and also has 12 years of experience in finance with the U.S. Air Force. He holds designation as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with ISC2.
