Put that out

On July 2 at about 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. a group at White Sands Lane and one at Kent Street were warned for having fires. Both fires were extinguished.

Missing

On July 2 at 3:30 p.m. a six-year-old boy on Morning Street reported that his parents were missing. The father soon returned.

Celebrating the Fourth of July

On July 4 there were 12 reports of fireworks, and two reports of gunshots, one at 20 Washington Ave. and the other on Jones Street, that police said were most likely firecrackers.

Field suspicions

On July 6 at 1:40 p.m. four men and one woman were seen behind Peterson Field. When police approached, one man ran. There were no signs of forced entry on any of the buildings.

Plovers

On July 7, a man reported that someone was walking through an area that is protected for piping plovers.

Nichole M. Blackstone, 23, of Elmwood Drive, Windham, was arrested on Saco Street on a charge of operating under the influence.

Joseph M. Kingsbury, 19, of Jones Creek Drive, Scarborough, was arrested on Charles Circle on charges of criminal mischief and criminal threatening.

Cory E. Sandora, 20, of Pinecrest Road, Portland, was arrested on Route 207 on a charge of operating after suspension.

Andrew P. Gaillard, 23, of Ash Drive, Gorham, was arrested on routes 207 and 77 on two warrant charges of failing to pay fine for burglary-Westbrook and operating after suspension.

Henry P. Brown, 18, of Beech Ridge Road, Scarborough, was arrested on Route 9 on a charge of driving to endanger.

Robert D. Marek, 46, of Hearn Road, Scarborough, was arrested on Broadturn Road on a charge of operating after suspension.

Anthony A. Hayes, 25, of State Street, Biddeford, was arrested on Haigis Parkway on a charge of violation of bail conditions.

Michael J. Gazza, 35, of Swale Lane, Lewiston, was arrested on Route 1 at Dr. Stereo on a charge of operating under the influence.

Anna M. Broad, 40, of Kelley Street, South Portland, was arrested on Route 1 on two warrant charges, operating under the influence/operating without license/failing to give name and violating bail-aggravated trafficking.

Maria Bryce, 20, Fisher Street, Portland, was arrested at Fairfield Inn on a warrant charge of failing to appear for theft and violation of bail in South Portland.

Michael J. Kelensky, 28, of Owls Roost Lane, Standish, was arrested on Route 114 on a warrant charge of failing to appear for operating after suspension, a warrant charge of terrorizing/Biddeford and a charge of failing to give correct name and date of birth.

Kristen A. Krum, 33, of Roberts Street, Portland, was arrested on a warrant charge of operating under the influence.
