Pier cutlines

Pier4 – The Pine Point pier is 6 feet wide and lacks water and proper power. The proposed pier would be 20 feet wide and include cranes to help with loading and unloading.

Pier5 – The new pier would most help local fisherman with loading and unloading. With the pier as it is fishermen have to either wait for low tide or row out to their boats to move equipment.

Baldacci – Gov. John Baldacci, middle, and Sen. Christopher Dodd, right, announced the $50,000 grant to plan and design a modern commercial fishing pier while visiting Pine Point.
