Scarborough Marsh Day schedule:
6 a.m.- 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.-11 a.m.: Marsh photography workshop with Bill Gillis at Pine Point Harbormaster’s office.
6 to 8 a.m.: Striped bass fishing demonstration with Dick Anderson at Eastern Trail Bridge.
7 to 8:30 a.m.: Birding walk with Linda Woodard at Eastern Trail Bridge.
7:30 to 10 a.m.: Clam digging with Harbormaster Dave Corbeau at Pine Point Harbormaster’s office.
9 a.m. 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.: Eastern Trail walks with Tom Daley at Pine Point side of trail.
9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.: Marsh history presentation with historian Bruce Thurlow at Scarborough Historical Society. In addition, exhibits at the Historical Society will be open all morning.
9:30 to 10:30 a.m.: Introduction to geocaching with Steve Kirsch, M.D. at Scarborough River Wildlife Sanctuary.
10 to 11:30 a.m. : Mill Brook Salt Marsh restoration tour with Mike Morrison and C.D. Armstrong at Scarborough Public Works garage on Lincoln Avenue. Note: there will be no shuttle service for this event.
10 to 11:15 a.m.: Guided canoe tour, space limited, come early, bring your own canoe or pay fee for rental. Audubon Nature Center
10:30 to 11:15 a.m.: Guided tour of Libby River Farm with Laurene Swaney at Camp Ketcha. Note: there will be no shuttle service for this event.
Noon: Bring your own picnic at Bayley’s Campground with a performance by the Maine Hysterical Society.
