The VNA will be holding its fall direct service training classes next month. This class covers all aspects of volunteer hospice care and end of life issues. Successful completion of the training leads to certification and assignment with individuals and families facing terminal illness.

The training class consists of eight four-hour sessions on Mondays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., beginning Sept. 18. All sessions will be held at the VNA office at 50 Foden Road in South Portland.
