An update on progess on the new Scarborough YMCA will highlight the Friends of Pine Point annual seafood potluck supper on Monday, Aug. 28, at 6 p.m., at the Pine Point fire station.

Members, prospective members and guests are asked to bring either a salad, soup, casserole, entree or a dessert, preferably with a seafood theme. There is no charge, but donations to the organization’s community activities will be accepted. To assist in planning for a variety of foods, RSVP to Lynne Cleary at [email protected].

Following dinner, a speaker from the YMCA will share plans for the new facility coming to Scarborough and answer questions. A business meeting with election of officers will conclude the evening.
